Museum and outdoor area with nice hiking trails in beautiful surroundings. It includes, among other things, a pharmacy museum and an agricultural museum. The revolving bleachers of Närpes Theatre and the set pieces belonging to the play performed this season are also located here.

In Närpes we have sucessfully been growing tomatoes for over 100 years
he local heritage museum of Pörtom primarily consists of three buildings which all have been moved their current location at Dalbacken: Småttgården with its' beautiful commoners interior of the 19th century - Ahlholma farm estate where a distinct glass exhibit is displayed, namely the Berga glassworks exhibit and the studio and art of Viktor Dalbo. The museum also encourages the visitors to explore the surroundings of the museum, as archaeological artefacts also are on display. Finally, the museum encourages its' visitors to visit the cosy café in order to relax with a cup of coffee.
The museum of Öjskogsparken is an agricultural society built up in close quarters. It's close to nature and provides an excellent example of how life could look in old times. You won't just be able to see it - but also get a sense of experience of what it would have been like to live in those times. There are over 20 historical builidngs in the area e.g. the lovely "Bengtsgården", which is a farmhouse from the 18th century with well-kept interior. Here, everything is kept as if the inhabitants will return at any moment.
