Fiskehamnar

Finland's biggest harbour is located in the neighbouring town Kaskö. The harbour is a centre for the country's import and export of Baltic Herring for food. In the year 2007 ca 25.5 million kgs was transported here, of which 11.3 million kgs were for foodpurposes.

By the fishing harbour of Nämpnäs one can enjoy the fresh air and watch the fishermen come ashore. If the catchings have been good one can also buy fresh fish directly from them.
